Hi! I’m Amy, a strange and unusual 25 year old posing as an average office grunt with too many hobbies and counting. I have a voracious and passionate appetite for life and everything in it and seek to experience it all. I lived in North Dakota for most of my life and I’m a recent Seattle transplant as of June of 2012. I feel like I’m finally alive, like I have a real place to call home, and that I belong here even if I never quite feel a sense of belonging with people. There’s a magic here, and it enlivens my muse like never before, so I’m going to run with it.
This is a project, a mission, of joy. A creative exploration. I set out to experience joy deeply, then bring it to the rest of the world. I want to help people see the whimsical in the ordinary, the joy in the mundane, the profound beauty in the little things. Momentum indicates energy, strength, power. Momentum is a force to be reckoned with, something that propels us forward, drives us on in life. True joy is a deep and transformative energy that we can bring into our lives, but it takes practice. I aim to practice joy every day, and share it with the people around me.
